We killed someone....

Okay, not exactly the news I wanted to hear from my aunts. But here it was. Now, what the hell was I supposed to do with it?

Just when I thought I could finally get a well-deserved break from the shitshow I'd been living for the past months, I get hit with this.

To make matters worse, an investigator starts snooping around Hollow Cove, asking questions about my aunts. If they're found guilty of this murder, it's a one-way ticket to Grimway Citadel - the witch prison.

Adding to my problems, something in the dark is hunting me. And unfortunately, it's not a naked Marcus.

If that isn't bad enough, things between me and the chief are falling apart, literally, and I don't think they can be fixed.

Wonderful Story!

I absolutely love Tessa, her aunts and her Vampire Friend. This series absolutely improves with each book. I love the fact that it feels like I am listening to a show like Charmed when I am listening to this series!! Don’t give up on it!

good stuff

I like the magic battles and dective skills. I hate there are no gay characters.

Story is good

I do wish she would stop with the constant review of how sexy Marcus is. Enough is enough. We know they find each other attractive.
I continue to listen because I like the characters and story, but I’m done with the rock hard abs talk.

Inconsistencies

The story was great but the inconsistencies in this story and the others in the series were hard to get past. When Tessa said she had never battled Demons when the first book was about battling Demons and when she said she didn’t know where the chief held his prisoners when her aunt Ruth had been locked up there previously.

Great book! Can’t wait to read the next one!

I love these books and how the characters grow, especially Tessa! I love it that she has a familiar!
