Great narration. The story is a welcomed change from most MM romance

This was a great title and continued to leave the reader guessing as the direction. It was a welcomed change to the cookie cutter MM romance template as well. I typically don’t like single narrator stories, but this was done well and each character was very clear.

A Interesting world, characters, and story thourghly enjoyed. Greatly enjoyed narrator's voice for all the book, hope the narrator does more books in the future.

fantastic narration!

3.5 - rounding up because the narrator did a fab job with the audio! Bret Mykel is a new to me narrator, but he really did a fantastic job articulating 3 MCs. Each of the MCs has a distinct voice and personality - I thought there were multiple narrators at times! He came through with all the emotions and the spicy times were HOT, especially when he was voicing Levy. The book itself has a very interesting premise - I've never read this kind of shift before and it was pretty cool! It was interesting to have 3 MCs, though this is not a love triangle and there is a HFN. The pacing of this book wasn't quite right for me, though - there were parts were it's one MC telling about a past event and that just really made everything drag. AS a result, the book itself is more like a 3ish for me.

the voice acting was incredible, the plot fascinating, and the smut... oh my God the smut 🤤

Perfect narrator!

The story was great, but the narrator… took to a whole different level! My goodness! It was amazing!!!!!! I don’t listen at the normal speed, because it’s slow as molasses to me, but speeding it up didn’t change the amazing job that the narrator did. The very unique voices, very clear and on par with the characters’ personalities, it was extremely well done. I thought I would listen to a bit, take a break, listen some more… but I was so wrong! The story is fascinating, the lore is great, and Jun… yeah, yeah, I know, but the voice sounded so good, that I liked him even better than Elliot! I hate Math, but I would take that class if he was teaching, that’s for sure! The romance isn’t as dark as I expect, and I appreciated the TWs, but I recommend people paying attention them, because they’re necessary. I really enjoyed the story, but a full star was earned by the narrator, and I gave some extra because Jun was… so good! Cunning, manipulating situations to achieve his desired outcomes, muddying the waters… just, perfect!.
