  • A Mother's Fight: Cynthia Jones' Battle with Rare Cancer
    Apr 14 2026
On this edition of The Mark White Show, I’m joined by Cynthia Jones as she shares her journey through a diagnosis that changed everything. In July of 2025, Cynthia was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive cancer called uterine carcinosarcoma. Since then, she has faced chemotherapy, immunotherapy, surgery, and the difficult reality of the cancer spreading to her lungs. Now, she continues her fight with radiation treatments ahead. Through it all, Cynthia has leaned on the strength of her family, especially her daughters, who have stepped in to support her during a season filled with both uncertainty and resilience. This is a conversation about facing the unknown, the weight families carry together, and what it means to keep going one day at a time. Real stories. Real people. Real impact. News That Unites!™️

  • Make A Difference Minute: The Power of Showing You Care
    Apr 12 2026
On this Make A Difference Minute, after receiving an ABBY Award from the Alabama Broadcasters Association last night, and dedicating it to my friend Danny Johnson, I wanted to share some of my conversation with Danny from February 2020. After battling dementia and Alzheimer’s for over 13 years, Danny’s message still rings true. A visit, a phone call, a simple act of showing up can lift someone more than we realize. This segment is a reminder that what matters most is not how much we know, but how much we care. This MADM is brought to you by Bankston Motor Homes, proudly supporting stories and the people who make our communities strong. Real stories. Real people. Real impact. News That Unites!™️
