One of my new favorites

This story was hilarious! I love the characters, the story, the performance. The main character Brad, I wish he was real so we could be besties. He is the greatest.

Sweet and funny

This was an absolutely sweet story. No angst or unnecessary drama. It’s not the kind of story I usually listen to. I tend to lean towards dark and broody, but this was a nice refreshing story that kept me laughing. Brad and Joey are both great characters.

Listen up. Attention! This is my type of shit. I mean it. This is the exact kind of shit I am into—over-the-top cheesy, romantic, fucking funny, himbo men falling in love who are best friends?? That’s my jam. That’s my everything. And this book? This book was amazing.

I was a little skeptical going in, because everyone was hyping it up—but fuck me, it was everything I wanted. This is the kind of book I devour and beg for seconds. Just two bros being bros, falling in love, and it slaps every time for me.

Yeah, maybe it’s been done before. Maybe the jokes are dumb. But you know what? That’s my style, baby. Give me those dumb fucking jokes. Give me the bros who are like, “whoa… I think I’m in love with my best bro.” That shit makes my whole week.

Also—Nick J. Russo?? Literally the best frat bro narrator to ever exist. Fight me. He’s my king. He brings this kind of story to life like no one else.

Anyway, this had everything I love in a book. It made me smile—like, full face, dumbass grin smiling. I had 145 highlights in this thing. That’s insane. I never get that high. But this book just hit the spot at the exact right time. I loved it. One of my favorites, no question.

And let’s not forget—they talk about Dirty Dancing all the time in this book. That’s my favorite movie. I literally have “Hungry Eyes” tattooed on my shins. So obviously… this is a 5-star read for me.

Oh, my heart. Brad and Joey-Roo forever. This book was such a genuine delight. Brad had me laughing out loud more times than I can count. Highly recommend this one if you want to swoon and smile and giggle and go all in on falling in love.
