They have learned to live in the shadows and pass through the forests by our homes.

This has been a good read and told the story with great detail. It is narrated so that it puts the listener at the edge of their seat wondering what will happen next.

Be careful with nature

It seems Mrs Parker places all of the blame for her distaste for Bigfoot on her California upbringing.
I find her a pain in the ass, and snubbing her nose at the advice of mediums and BF Investigators
To present “offers” of foods etc, to be her largest mistake.
The sad beginning with the couple and the foster kids and no toilets ... coal in the stove, I mean
WTH!! Never was an explanation.
I think you should move first of all, to a large metropolitan area. Find a 54th floor condo, and be happy with a doorman and cement sidewalks.
Less stress
OR
Learn to accept the Big Foots were there BEFORE your house and you, it is their land! Offer them gifts everyday, and get on with your life.

Spooky Tale, Dull Narration

I have read this book and it is an eerie tale of encounters with Bigfoot and Dogmen. While it is a great book (the sequel was just out), the audio version is not so great. It does include the audio recorded sounds mentioned in the book. The narrator leaves much to be desired. There is a dull monotone without much emotion. You can hear the breaths after the sentences. This would have been a great selection with a better narrator.

Excitingly Detailed

The story comes from a personal prospective and the reader is allowed into the inner thoughts of the author as she and her family try to navigate a terrifying presence in the woods. A presence that others refuse to believe might exist.

Great Story

Very entertaining and worth the listen. On the other hand it was a bone chilling story because of the creatures that were encountered.
