A lot can happen in three seconds. It's the space of time between walking onstage and stepping up to the mic. It's that moment when your eyes meet across a crowded room and the chemistry between you is undeniable.

Bronagh has accomplished a lot in her 35 years. A successful pub owner and happy divorcée, she's learned to enjoy life, but have realistic expectations. Her past has taught her that it's best not to depend on others, but that doesn't mean she won't sample a tasty morsel when it's right in front of her.

After taking a break from culinary school to travel abroad, Brendan is back and eager to finish what he started. Although he relishes the nights he gets to play with his brothers in their band, and enjoys their healthy supply of groupies, he's ready to start acting like the 20-something that he is, a fact he craves to prove with Bronagh.

What starts as a one-night-stand becomes more when Bronagh and Brendan realize that they can't walk away. But can a younger man who's prone to late nights and scantily-clad women convince a woman who's been hurt that age doesn't matter, and he's the man she needs?

3 Seconds (Time for Love #6) was a great read by Bethany Lopez. Bronagh is a successful pub owner as well as a happy divorcee. Her past taught her to enjoy life and not depend on others. Brendan took a break from culinary school abroad and now wants to finish what he started. He's ready for a more adult life even though he enjoys playing in a band with his brother. Bronagh and Brendan share a one night stand that turns into so much more. I enjoyed this book and can't wait to read more by the author.

This is the sixth book in the Time for Love Series. This is a good age gap romance. The characters are great, and the storyline is interesting. Shawn Marie Bryan did a good job with the narration. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Audible Review:

3 Seconds by Bethany Lopez was a charming listen with a bit of angst and a whole lots of chemistry. Brendan is back in school and performing with his brothers. Life is good. Then he meets Bronagh and his world tilts. But they face so many obstacles, can they find their way?

Bronagh is thirty-five, divorced and getting used to her new normal. Brendan is twenty-five and ready to get his life in order. He has been a playboy and carefree. But after their one-night stand, they realize walking away may not be so easy. But with an age-gap and a bad romantic history, can Bronagh truly let Brendan in?

Narrated by Shawn Marie Bryan, 3 Seconds by Bethany Lopez is a sweet, charming and a bit angsty story with all the best feels. I’ve jumped around reading this series, but I am sad to be done with this series with such great characters!

Happy listening!

This one is by far my favorite so far in this series. I love the age gap and real relationship issues that are dealt with with this couple. Both of them are so lovable you can’t help but cheer for them the whole time.

I did this a bit backward. I read the first many stories in the series years ago. Then picked up '7 Months', story following Ming & Brady, the other day, the 'For Eternity'. I realized today I had skipped this one.

I am so glad I went back for this one. It was a wonderful story, so much makes more sense. I love all the characters & the family they make. The love & support are tangible.

Unfortunately, I am not a fan of the narrator. It was like listening to someone over acting. Sometimes less is more.
