Dr. K and his team came through!!! He has such a pleasant voice and I learned so much from this guide!! The inclusion of Ayurveda and eastern wisdom helped me put my ADHD habits into perspective. And the suggestions for the ways to deal with anxiety, digest healthier food, reduce screen time and get better sleep, all of these things I’ll take with me. It was so good!!! 10/10! A++ haha

Just as the author said, if there’s a chapter that doesn’t seem to apply, feel free to skip it, but not right away. Sometimes we think something doesn’t relate to us, only to find it’s exactly what we needed.

The meditation chapter, for example, didn’t apply to me personally after listening for a bit. Other than that, as a Christian, I found this book to be wonderfully written and genuinely helpful. The narrator’s voice is perfect, I believe the narrator is the author, and that always adds something special to an audiobook.

I also appreciate that the coping mechanisms shared throughout the book show that medication isn’t always necessary for ADHD. Of course, I may feel that way because I have Christ in my life, and with Him, everything is easier.

I’m truly glad I took the suggestion to listen to this book.

This book is such a gift. I found it so helpful, and started to share the tips I was learning with my nine year old son who is also diagnosed with adhd. We started listening together and he loved it, too! I noticed his attitude about himself and his brain started shifting. He will randomly tell me “I love my brain.” He has talked to his teachers about how he has a “firework brain not a candle brain” and they have helped him apply the techniques he learned in this book in his school work. He has made little lifestyle changes that are totally self-guided, I just pushed play on the audiobook and have been amazed at the outcome! Thank you for your care and attention in putting together this engaging and helpful book.
