This deserves more than 5 stars

Another epic tale in the Realm Breaker series from my favorite author of all times. This one had so much going on that I had a hard time putting it down. This complex story has a lot of great battles & is just full of action. The world building is superior & character development is stunning. If you want an explosive read then this is for you. Full of battles, betrayal, friendship, trust and also unfortunately loss. The narrators did a tremendous job bringing this story to life and they are now added to my facorite narrators list.
Skalda is one of my most favorite characters of all times. She grew up poor, her brother left her with her sick mother, she couldn’t get an egg to hatch for her and she is always on the short end of the stick. Since Bael came into her life they have basically been on the run. Skalda has been hunted & almost put to death several times. Her bond with Bael is strong even though everyone says it is impossible to bond with him. Skalda has worked hard & built a dragon post of her own & now Skálda faces a world on the brink of collapsing . The war igniting across Elondria and the Lord Prince is quickly gaining an ultimate power. Skálda must face the growing darkness that is trying to over run her magical bonded Bael. Skalda is torn between saving her homeland and resisting the Realm-Breaker's manipulations. Circumstances are forcing Skalda to make choices that could shatter everything she’s fought for. I have to say that Bael has definitely shown a darker side of himself but I am sure Skalda can overcome it.
This beast of a book demonstrates this authors ability to provide a simply marvelous read. I can wait to see what happens next.
