They’re snowed in together, but what he’s hiding could tear them apart.

When a sudden Montana blizzard leaves Julianne stranded and helpless in her office building, she assumes she is about to spend the cold night alone.

But after a rugged cowboy, Hank, risks riding through the storm to save his horse and finds shelter at her work, the two have no choice but to tough it out together.

The clash of their strong personalities is put on hold when they are forced by a shocking new danger to abandon the office and seek refuge in a century-old structure.

A rancher and perpetual loner, Hank has been hardened against the harshest of conditions, and it is only the storm growing between them that he fears.

As he struggles against his overwhelming attraction for Julianne, she begins to suspect that he’s hiding something, but she never would have guessed what truth he’s keeping from her, and their budding relationship is threatened when she finally uncovers the inconceivable secret he’s been keeping from her.

The Landon Brothers of Montana, Book 1
: Leslee Green

I enjoyed the premise of this book. Two people from different backgrounds. each with their own baggage are caught in a blizzard. The two have to trust and help each other in order to survive. The pacing is a bit slow, but still enjoyable. The descriptions of the area and everything around was good. The listener is able to feel as if they are there.

The narration was rather flat, without any emotion. The three characters were all read without separate personalities.

The narrator was reading a book instead of telling the story. I have never felt this frustrated with an audible book before. It’s too bad because the story is good and I may look for the actual book to read.
