Muller seizes every opportunity to extract emotion, meaning, nuance, and subtlety from each word and each situation. Each character has a different voice, each moment has its own intensity, and there is no better "Bah! Humbug!" anywhere in audio. Muller’s intelligent interpretation takes the well-known story and breathes new life into each scene. There are a million options out there, with ‘special’ narrations by famous people. But Frank Muller was simply the best of them all. He may have other books with flashier characters (King’s Green Mike for one) but he could do Dickens as good as anyone. This is the very best Christmas Carol to be found!
