With Grandmama now on board, the pair sets out for justice amidst the picaresque Surrey hills, hoping to solve an old murder and restore a former friendship before the holiday spirit fades.

A very compelling story

I love Anne Perry's Christmas series, and this one did not disappoint. The way she draws out
her characters is unique, and the unraveling of the mystery grabs the reader's attention. Perry has
a way of imbuing old women characters with spirit, intelligence and creativity is incredible.

A very satisfying Christmas mystery

The story once again features Anne Perry’s keen observations of human nature and the bare beauty of a winter world. Narrator is excellent.
