Things start to look up when Kevin stumbles into a wild romance with the woman he thought was just a dream, a water nymph with a magical and mysterious past.

There's just one problem: his new lover left a fiancé at the altar, and that man just happens to be Death himself. In a desperate attempt to save his own life, Kevin—alongside Driff, an elven secret agent with questionable loyalties, and Ren, a longtime friend who knows more than he's letting on—befriends the reaper and must find a way to hook Death up with someone new before his own role in events comes to light.

Such a fun and saucy story!

I loved this story from the very opening scene! So many great characters, all brought to life by the narrator. I got wrapped up in the humor and snark, but then the story got real! It goes places you don't expect and wraps up very nicely in the end. I can't wait for the next one!

Fantastic

Scott Colby wrote a great book. Jason L. Bishop narrated it great. The story is interesting, keeps you guessing, and an overall good book. The main character gets in to trouble several times throughout the book. It’s action pact.

Amazing narration!

This is a wicked clever story that takes a bit to build. It’s worth hanging on for and the narrator does a fabulous job keeping you engaged and listening!

Grim Reaper gets dumped and depressed

Imagine that you woke up one day and discovered that not only nobody in your area can die despite their brains being blown out of their head, humans are not the only intelligent species there is, you've been unknowingly enjoying intimate moments with a blue water nymph that is apparently in love with you but also that whatever is happening in your town is all undoubtedly your fault. You would probably guess that your day is going to get pretty interesting... * I loved the story! If you like fantasy genre, go right ahead, very well written and narrated.
