This was insane. In a good way.

Okay I feel like every single book I read from this author is just wild. It’s a thrill ride from start to finish. This book has the craziest twists. You think what you figure out is a big deal but it’s not. My brain needs to just sit for a minute and absorb the crazy. Definitely recommend! The audio was well done and easy to follow. I listen on 2.85x and I had no problem with understanding the narrators or keeping up with the storyline.

Great book!

I have loved all of A.R. Torre’s psych thriller books and this was no exception. It starts out quick and leaves you wanting more- wanting to know what this couple is about and what will happen next. I finished it in less than 24 hours! This couple is crazy- both are lying to each other and they lie to everyone around them, both living a double life. It was exciting from beginning to end. Loved it!

Psychological Suspense 101

A.R. Torre is a go-to author when I'm looking for some psychological suspense. She always keeps me on my toes with dark characters and equally dark secrets. She's done it again with this story, that will have fans turning pages to find out just what happened here, and who (if anyone) is holding all the cards .

Was it though?

I was a tiny bit confused at first with how it kept going from different characters pov, maybe because the chapters were pretty short and then it jumped to someone else. But once I figured out what was going on I was hooked! I think I found my new favorite thriller author!

It took a bit for me to take the bite but overall it was a good twist.
