Excellent!

A most excellent read! I loved this one. It has a swift pace, danger, action, and suspense. It has a well developed and sweet romance, a compelling plot, and great characters. The writing is engaging, descriptive, and smooth. I read it in a single day and did not want to put it down.

The FMC especially was refreshing. I liked that Laura Rollins crafted her smart, bold, and courageous, but still a lady who enjoys embroidery and society. It’s not a blend I see often, and it’s done in a natural and believable way. I also appreciated that Rollins pulled off suspense without angst. A truly talented author.

All around a great read and highly recommended.

There is no foul language or sex. There is some violence, but it’s not excessive. The romance is limited to lightly descriptive kisses. There is no real mention of faith or God.
