Charming story

I was introduced to these books while watching an interview of the author. I was not disappointed. Lovely book, well read.

Loved!

I absolutely loved this book! The mystery, the sisterhood, the relationship between Sophie and Jonathan. All of it! And the narrator did an awesome job as always! I can't wait for the next book in the series!

Kisses only historical mystery / romance

This is the first book in the Blue Orchid Society series. It is a kisses only historical. There is a prequel story to this series. I didn't read it due to some of the content it contains (I think it was a psychic in there.) Youndo not need that book to understand this one or the rest of the series. I was also told that the psychic doesn't play a role in any more of the books.

This story has a major mystery plot element to it. The romance is not as prominent an element, but it is there. There are people murdered, but there aren't graphic details.

I think this is my first book by the author. I thought she wrote an interesting book with compelling characters. I would have liked a bit more interaction between the blue orchid society friends and more romance. But it was very good for what it was. It wasn't lacking though. I do look forward to reading the other books.

I listened and it was fine. Luone Ingram is the narrator. I don't love her, but she's grown on me a bit. I can appreciate her accents that she adds to a story.

Almost returned it

I got this book on impulse then almost returned it when I heard the narrator’s American voice. But when I heard her British accents, and how easy it was to differentiate between the characters, I decided to give it a chance. I’m glad I did. I loved the relationships between the women and enjoyed both the mystery and the light romance. Just what I needed on my lazy day off!
