Grace Sinclair has been callously cast out of her home. And Aunt Bell, recognizing the danger of having her lovely niece too near her husband, gives Grace an ultimatum: The young woman has two weeks to find a man to marry, after which she will be turned out. With no experience in the art of attracting a husband, Grace quickly realizes that a worthy suitor might not be so easy to ensnare.

Narration was terrible

I only listened to the entire thing because I bought it and I liked the storyline, however, the narration was terrible and ruined the experience for me. I cannot fairly rate the writing as my opinion will be heavily biased, based on the narration.

Esther Hatch and Abiggail Warren. A well-written story told with a most expressive narration. Entertaining with warmth and one especially rascally character. Loved the tension between Nat and Grace. Made for a delightful listen. Ms Warren's voice is a keeper for her character interpretations!!

Fun story

This story made me laugh so much! Well written and I would recommend to anyone. I docked one star because towards to end there were some clicking sounds that distracted from the story.

Strong female lead

I enjoyed this book however and went at a slower pace than I would prefer but overall it was a good book.

Slow start, but great ending!

I listened to this on audible. The narrator was great! I felt like the first few chapters took me some time to get into. But once Grace was deep into trouble, the interest picked up. The second half of the book, once Nathaniel was more involved and trying to resist Grace (and failing), the interest was high and I couldn’t get enough!
