If you are into history and biographies I would not recommend you reading this particular books.

Period prior to Romanoffs is cover very thinly, akin to textbook - dates and facts. You don’t get a feel of what happened on the territory of Russia in the first millennia.

I dropped it after listening for about an hour and a half

Know what others don’t

This is a great insight into what some may not understand and make judgement off mainstream media. History is complicated.
