Things seem to take a turn for the better when she meets Revel, an up-and-coming kingpin. Not only does he wine and dine Harlow, but he also treats her little sister like his own. For a short time, Harlow believes she's found her happily ever after - until things shift and she suddenly finds herself in a situation she can't get out of, that is, until an unlikely savior steps in and saves the day.

This story is everything

I bought this book on kindle a couple of years ago and enjoyed it so much that I bought it on kindle. I was rooting so hard for Harlow and Hazel. Even though I was pissed she went back to the apartment . I’m glad they got their happy ending.

Never Disappointed

This is literally the first audiobook I’ve ever listened to and I was not disappointed at all! The reader’s voice was so soothing and she brought this book to life.

I really liked the book. Cyn never disappoints, but you can count on her to always throw you a curve ball, which I love because there’s never a dull moment when you’re reading and you never want to skip a page.

I loved Harlow and Savior’s love story. I was really disappointed in Revel. The way he first came, you would’ve sworn he was a hood super hero but he turned out to be just the opposite. But Savior came through and saved the day. I’m just happy Harlow and Bunny finally got happiness and the family they deserved.

Tragic and Traumatic

This was well written and while it doesn’t trigger me, I’m exhausted and need a soft song to recover from the stress of reading this.

It’s a good enough story to finish but I hope to not read this type of book for some time.
