The House of Lambspun has been bombarded for the holidays. But when a rancher is found dead in Bellevue Canyon, avid knitter and sometime-sleuth Kelly Flynn quickly puts these festive pastimes aside.

With his reputation for lovin' and leavin' the ladies of Fort Connor, it seems a little strange that the victim's final admirer was a fiancee...none other than the hopelessly bereaved Lucy Adair. Unluckily, Kelly also finds herself linked to the prime suspect in the case - a rejected ex-lover of the playboy rancher. Charged with keeping both spinner and spurned from going over the edge, she'll discover more than a few secrets tangled on this triad's bobbin.

Pretty good

A Killer Stitch is an okay cozy mystery. The romantic entanglements of the characters were featured too much. The narration is robotic and annoying. I don't know if I'll get the next book.

Horrible narration

The book was pretty much like the other in this series, you know Kelly's sleuthing will solve the crime. The narration was not great, I've never heard someone talk thru their nose like that.

Story isn’t bad

While the story isn’t bad the narrator is not good. The different voices are grating.

No Colorado accents used here

I admit I’m “prejudice “ as I am a pronunciation and linguistics professor, but the narrator has NO CONCEPT of native Coloradans accent — we have NO accent and we NEVER talk through our noses!
Other than this, it is another good “chick mystery” by Maggie Sefton.
But please don’t use this narrator again!!! PLEASE!!!

Why?

Why in the world did you change narrators ,she hurts my ears, and what with the accents!!!! I don't know if I can stand her through the rest of the series!
