If you're triggered by being bullied and s* abuse, please use caution. Great series and such a great read with Christian theme.

Great read or listen. The narrators did a great job with volume I & II. Once again I was hooked into the story of Jack & Ruth. Loved to heard about Waltz and Allie. Now to see what happens with Ray. Thank you! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hooked me from the start

This book was the best WWII-themed books I’ve ever read or listened to. Love the strong Christian characters. Their faith was so moving.

Could not stop listening.

Most of the story was great, but, as always, the disappointingly codependent behaviors of Sarah's main characters, erroneously lauded as Christ-like behaviors, detract from the story. A victim mentality is not the mentality Christ had. Shame-based personalities are not what God gave us. If the characters learned the difference during the plot, that would be different, but they don't. By the stroke of a keyboard, it all turns out okay in the end, but it doesn't work that way in real life. God's deliverance comes as He teaches us to truly love others AS WE LOVE OURSELVES, not instead of ourselves. Some of the story was unrealistic and some a bit melodramatic and sappy. But much of it was good, cute, and funny.

Again, the narrator did a great performance and made the book very enjoyable! Very talented!
