Perfect continuation to story.

This is a perfect continuation to the story of Alex plus so much more. I love the different perspectives from The Illia, Lanie, and other mage houses and Victora and the monsters in the Void. It really developed a greater understanding of their world. Omari Douglas is also so talented reading the awesome stories. I am very surprised with how everything happened and can't wait to see what happens next.

I'm So Sad it's Over! Hooked Immediately!

This book was amazing. Both of them were. There were so many unexpected twists & turns in both. Very original. The narrator was excellent. The author didn't hold back, which I appreciate. I really hope there's a 3rd! I don't want to start a new book, I just want more of this story & narrator! ☹️

The storyline is like nothing I've ever read before.

The Ilia is an unusual concept. It was hard to tell if it was good or evil. I didn't like that the siblings always assumed what the other would think instead of discussing what each other's intent was. Overall, it was an interestingly compelling storyline.

Loved the first book, really enjoyed this one!

Couldn’t wait to get my hands on this one after reading “The Shape of Monsters” and definitely wasn’t disappointed.
Great story with a fantastic narration. Most definitely recommend!

Really liked the first book and enjoyed being back in this world. Can't wait for a 3rd to see what happens next. Narrator turned in another great performance.
