Overall Good

I liked that the author got to the story quick and didn’t bore us in the beginning

Good beginning but needed more character development & background. Ending needs more.exlanstion. Reader left wondering about relationships between characters .

The calmness of the storytelling.

It was a good story. I liked how the story built in such a gradual way and nicely tied the storyline up at the end. Enjoyed the characters.

Very relatable relationships and very interesting twists!

Fast paced!! Action packed!! Engaging characters that all have their strengths and weaknesses. The plot twists are very interesting and I love this whole book. Wish there were more with these characters!

Not so great

The narrator took away the story as she’d put a pause in almost every sentence - making it sound choppy. I understand pauses are a must where needed, but it was overdone.
As the story unfolds, it read like the good guys (law enforcement & protagonist) are not efficient in their jobs! It’s a little frustrating for me.
