A brutal triple murder. An abandoned psychiatric hospital. And a dark family secret.

Fatal Return is the bloody opening to the Fatal psychological thriller series by Alex Hansen - an Audible Original.

When her father suffers a heart attack, forensic psychologist Gilian moves back from New York to Rochester - much to the annoyance of her pubescent daughter Christina. The moving boxes are not even unpacked when the expert is already called to a crime scene: Sergeant Ryan Moore needs her support to solve a brutal triple murder in the woods of Devil's Bathtub. The joint investigation reopens an old wound in Gilian - for the two workaholics are bound by more than just their unwavering sense of justice.

too much going on, I want a story I can't wait to see what happens. this was not that.

sufficient for my purpose, not great, not bad.

story was alright, but not overwhelming. narration sounded almost computer generated... in some areas definitely.

pretty good, not great

The way the narrator hit the T’s in words made me grimace every time she said a word. The accents were awful. It’d be a lot better with a new narrator or two. The storyline was a little confusing, but it was ok. The book kind of just ended.

Story was ok. Narrator was NOT.

Not the best story but at least it was free on audible. Could’ve had a better ending.

Mediocre

The story was mediocre and the narrator was terrible. It was difficult to follow which character was the focus.

Decent listen
