Engrossing story and well-defined characters. Could really empathize with Vine’s dilemma. The ending was perfect. Fabulous authentic southern narration!

Fantastic. I tend to like Southern writing, and this book was no exception. But the poetic language and a captivating storyline in A Pachment of Leaves were exceptionally good. The narration was perfect.

Captivating

The poetic language throughout was spellbinding. Silas House tells a story of love and fate where a strong, independent, loving heroine must deal with fate and and an agonizing guilt that is unbearable and inescapable. A terrible tragedy is inevitable in this saga. I admire the protagonist as she dealt with the love for her family and a secret that would tear her family apart. As is stated in the story, there is so much evil in this world but there’s much more goodness to overcome all the evil. I enjoyed the variety of characters that House develops so that the reader feels like s/he knows each one personally. This is a wonderful story about how love conquers all!

Poetic Justice
