DNF for a good reason

First the narrator has the most grating cadence to her speech that is unnatural. Almost all of her sentences end with a raising then lowering of her pitch.

Second, the characters inner monologues repeat their situation over and over again. That isn’t natural either.

The female lead’s family changes their last name and the ML changes his identity disguising himself by shaving his mustache and growing his hair longer. England is small so their faces would be very recognizable as we soon find out with the mother knowing the ML’s true identity.

The story is very immature and not well written.
