A bit boring

Too much emphasis on “proper” behavior and customs. That is pretty much the entire story.

cute story

cute story, easy listen, funny. This was not the typical historical romance, I would like a second book to the series.

Such Fun!

Great book! Great writing! Engaging start to finish But the real start is the witty well paced dialog. I laughed all the wat through, though this author explores all human feelings. I was not a fan of the MMC at all until he finally redeems himself at the end. While my heart broke a few times, the HEA was a balm to heal it. Exceptional Narration.

good story

Narrator spoke to fast. The reason I use audible is because I have traumatic brain injury and it is difficult to read.

Absolutely delightful

This was a lovely story. I loved how the lost heiress was so matter-of-fact. The MMC was perfect as the stoic guard and teacher. Their relationship grew beautifully and the ending was very satisfying. The narrator is one of my favorites and she did a wonderful job with all the characters' voices.
