Life with him is amazing, whether we’re epically failing at packing (where did that silicone toy come from?) or he’s insisting that Matthew isn’t his bestie (he is).

But our newest case leads us to a crossroads where we have to decide whether we should do things the proper way or Liam’s way. And I have to admit that the line of what is right and wrong is beginning to blur as a serial killer draws us into his web. He just doesn’t realize that he’s not the only hunter spinning it.

Love Alice winters so funny and dark at same time

Alice Winter books are always so much fun to listen to and Greg Tremblay is the best narrator. Her books makes sense, dark humor, troubled past and traditional, who done it tropes.

Liam brought to life made me squeal and is exactly how I imagined! Greg made this book real and it makes me happy.

Liam’s mind is incredible

I love how surprising and twisted this story gets. I also love that although Liam’s personality stays true, he now has ‘friends’ (because ‘what would Gabriel do). We get to see a lot more of Jesse and Matthew. It is a fun story. Greg Boudreaux does a fabulous job, as always, bringing the story to life.

Keeps Getting Better

This is the third (and hopefully not final) book in the series. Each book has improved upon the last as we learn more and more about the characters. I’m always hesitant with books containing morally gray characters because usually they’re either too tame or too insufferable. Neither is a problem with this series as Alice strikes the perfect balance with Liam. I really enjoyed the twists and turns as they tried to solve the case, and the last few chapters even cause me to shed a few tears, which is rare. Fingers crossed we’ll get several more books in the series. Greg Boudreaux’s narration helped to elevate the story and I’d give hire than 5 stars if I could.

Liam & Gabriel get drawn into a murder mystery after a head is found at a pet crematorium in a animal from the zoo’s bag. Liam figures out that Ii links Jesse the coroner murder, which is from Jesse’s past.
Of course Liam figures out almost all of it, but Gabriel does get hurt and Liam blame’s himself before it’s all finished.
There’s some laughs and It all ends well, with guest appearances by Lucy Fur and Butter, which I always love.
