Really enjoyed this story

This is my first book by this author and I really enjoyed it. Had a great storyline and characters. It does end in a cliffhanger so if that’s not your thing be aware. I would definitely read more from this author.

Good book

Good story with an interesting storyline and well done characters. There are plenty of twists and lots of action to keep you interested until the end.

Strong, confident, sexy!

This was a wild tumble through a richly detailed world, populated by intriguing and gritty characters. Nice to have a fantasy novel that realizes female fighters are something beyond beautiful psychos in chain mail bikinis!
Also, fantastic interactions between Jinx, the main character, and her best friend...who just happens to be a guy. Just two people who get along so well they’re cheerful assholes to each other. Funny and brutal as hell, with genuine platonic affection between them.
Overall this was a fun, fast-paced, compelling tale that really had me invested in the outcome of the story and the fates of its characters.

Great start

I had been eyeballing this as an kindle book for a while, and when I seen that I had a chance for the audio book I snatched it up and instantly pushed back everything else to listen to it first. Extremely entertaining story and performance and I can not wait to get into more of this series.
