Great story, as usual… until!

I’ve been a Jane Casey fan for years. I’ve weathered narrator changes and long spans between books. In this book, the writing is great and the plot twists perfect, as always. But that epilogue! Maeve has been to Hell and back. Ms. Casey, I ask you humbly, please let her have a win on this one.

Outstanding Police Procedural

This is the latest in a series of excellent British police procedural mysteries.
The series is built around the protagonist, a female detective in a murder squad. With each book, the protagonist becomes more and more experienced and her character becomes more and more realistic.
The murders are always interesting and the solutions to the murders are always clever, with twists at the end.
Read and enjoy.

Another amazing addition to this series. I adore Maeve and this one did not dissolve.
