The final book in the Elemental Warrior series.

Having barely survived the Lands Beyond, Tolan recuperates while preparing for the next attack. His closest allies are gone, leaving him floundering for answers, along with his place in the Academy.

Tolan must protect Terndahl, before the elementals attack. After years spent teaching others the elementals were no danger, he fears the repercussions of changing course.

When even an elemental warrior might not be enough, Tolan must find the elemental nature within him.

This is the gripping conclusion of the Elemental Warrior series!

I’ve now read Tolen’s story as far as it’s been written and while I find some of the devices used throughout the series repetitive, we wouldn’t have much tension if the lead character had it all figured out the first go round. The world building, the magic, the elements, and bonds all work together in symphony to create an imaginative and unique experience for the reader. What could have been called a HP rip off originally, ended up nothing of the sort. I would love to read the future adventures Tolen gets into if it were ever to be written.

Wonderful endcap to a saga

Honestly, the series was pretty good, but this ending seems to fall flat off a cliff. There were some strange audio issues with a couple of the books. And Farrah was still this whiny contrarian that seemed like a near toxic relationship. Then, the ending was just kind of a “well, here it is” delivery with a shoulder shrug and everything.
