Friends know all your faults and love you anyway. But what happens when you cross the line between friends and . . . more than friends?

Chris

My straight roommate and I are totally not dating. Sure, Lucas and I watch videos together—yes, those kinds of videos—and sometimes fall asleep in the same bed afterward. And yeah, I bring coffee to his lab every day so I can get my hug fix. But at night, I've been out clubbing and trying to forget that my ex-boyfriend was using me. I'm so lucky Lucas puts up with my drunk shenanigans. Until he doesn't—and makes it impossible for me to hide what I really want. But it's all platonic. Right?

Lucas

Chris means everything to me, and I'd do anything for him. But one too many middle-of-the-night rescue missions with him falling-down drunk makes me lose my temper. Bigtime. Once he's sober, I threaten to put him over my knee and give him what he deserves. I expect him to tell me to go to hell, but instead he blushes and squirms. He wants it. Badly. And now I don't know what to do. It should've been a one-time thing. But seeing Chris that way—touching him that way—has me hooked. Because my own reaction isn't exactly platonic either.

Contains mature themes.

Life and kindness will bring people together. You just have to open your heart and be open to any kind of person in your relationship.

This book is more of the story from the other books. The author weaves the story together. I really liked the quirky kind people in these stories. The guy that reads these books is great. These stories make me smile and laugh

I love Eliot Grayson and I'd already read this a couple times so i knew i loved the story, but the voice acting really blew me away. Sometimes the emphasis of the "t" sounds at the ends of words would catch my attention but it would swiftly take a back seat to the excellent emoting. Chris Chambers is so good.

Incredible voice acting

The narrator is always great, I love Chris Chambers.
The story is my only point of… trepidation(?). I’ve enjoyed all Elliot Greyson’s other novels I’ve listened to on here, this one however frustrated me.
Chris comes across as shallower than I’d like to think he is, However, I do know the issues he faces mentally and they are difficult to see for oneself in the moment, so it was completely believable.
He was just so whiney I wanted to smack him myself, and I suppose that makes him all the more believable as a character. It was just a frustrating read as it was nearly “too much” for storyline in my opinion.
But it’s just that, my opinion, definitely worth the read, just like the others.
I loved it nonetheless, and will probably definitely read it again.

Well Done.
Thank you.

Good Story

Nothing even close to the depth and plot line of book one. I found this one to be something of a waste of time. The characters had their moments, and they were well performed by Chris Chambers... (But Chris Chambers never messes anything up!) But honestly, the author didn't seem to quite know where to go with this book. This was predominantly about Chris and his Alcohol abuse and Lucas learning about gay sex... Lots and lots of it. I've never read/listened to a book where I have rooted so strongly for the couple to break up and be done with it. Sorry. I didn't like this book. Listen, Devour and LIVE book one (Decent Thing) and don't ruin it with this inane sequel. Not recommended.

Very little plot
