Not what I expected!

I went in thinking I was reading a hockey romance. Turns out I was reading a heartbreakingly beautiful story of Jace and Easton and two souls who were always meant to be. Read this!

Although I enjoyed the grittiness and the forbidden fruit aspect of this book, the book felt unfinished and like it needed a lot more to it. I am looking forward to diving into this series and seeing where it goes.⁣

Silas Hart was a great choice for the narration of this book, as he has the grittiness to his voice that keeps you rooted in the story.⁣

Love starting from a tied broken past takes time to heal

I love the complete emotional upheaval and journey these characters went through, from abusive foster parents and a case of a roommates bi panic that threatens his hockey career to finding his overprotective street smart foster brother. The narrator was perfect for this tone of book.
