Frontman Jesse Moore and NFL star Luc Martín share one night of passion, not knowing that they're both on the brink of stardom. It's a night they'll always remember, but there's just one problem- they never told each other their names.

Years later, Jesse's an international rockstar getting ready to play on one of the biggest stages, and Luc's team is gearing up to win their first Super Bowl Championship ring. They're about to come face-to-face for the first time since that unforgettable night.

I have come to love Rebecca Rathe. I have all her titles in my library and I've enjoyed her writing so much! When I first started listening, I wasn't sure about Jake but I've come to enjoy his narration just as much. He's very emotive and really does a great job with bringing the characters to life.
I love that this was a rock star and a football player. I like how they met and had one of those amazing connections that you never forget.
Thank you Rebecca for another really good story. I suspect I'll be right here listening when the next one comes out! ❣️

Jesse and Luc have a great love story that seems so real, heartbreaking. You can just imagine these guys irl navigating fans and our world. I love the political aspects brought into this story. So sadly relevant to today’s society.

This story is very touching and leaves you feeling all the better for having listened to their struggle.

Duet narration of a dual 1st POV, standalone

This was Remember My Name, book one in the Lest Is Moore series by Rebecca Rathe, and honestly this was one of the hottest books I have read in a long while.

And I mean hot.

Scorching hot.

The chemistry between Jesse and Luc was absolutely unreal. From the very beginning there is this tension and pull between them that never really lets go of you. The yearning in this book? Top tier.

The story starts with them meeting when they are both really young. One unforgettable night. No names exchanged. Just connection, chemistry, and a moment that stays with both of them for years.

Then life happens.

Years later they meet again when Jesse is now a huge rockstar and Luc is an NFL player trying to keep his life as private as possible.

And the second they see each other again?

Done.

Completely gone for each other.

What really worked for me was the dynamic between them. Jesse is loud, chaotic, passionate. Luc is quiet, reserved, almost painfully private. But when they are together the way they communicate, the way they accept each other exactly as they are, it just works.

Their love for each other feels very open. Very vulnerable. They are constantly exposing their hearts to each other and that level of emotional honesty made the whole relationship feel really powerful.

Also the football player x rockstar dynamic? I loved it. It added such a fun layer to everything.

And the spice.

My god.

The spice in this book is wildly good. It is intense, emotional, and incredibly hot. The chemistry between them carries straight through those scenes and it makes everything feel even more intimate.

A couple moments from the book that absolutely got me:

“Think about what?”
“Being mine.”

and

“Loving you,” Luc says simply, “out loud.”

I also really liked that underneath the romance there were heavier themes being explored, politics, and especially around Jesse and everything he had gone through before the story really begins. That added a lot of emotional depth to the book.

The only reason I am not giving it a full five stars is because toward the end there is a little bit of drama that felt slightly unnecessary. I understood the motivation behind it, but it did feel like we could have gotten to the same emotional resolution without quite that level of conflict. Also, we needed a proper epilogue. They deserved it.

Still.

This book was addictive, emotional, incredibly hot, and I absolutely loved Jesse and Luc together.

I’m already so invested in book 2!
