Carter Morgan III hates everything about South Carolina University except for one thing: hockey.

As the starting netminder for the team, he lives for those moments when he can step onto the ice and between the pipes. Unfortunately, his time at school and on the team is slowly coming to an end. Although he'd love nothing more than to pursue a career in the NHL, he knows better than to get his hopes up.

Zeke Cassidy needs a place to live. When he answers an advertisement for a roommate, he's not sure what he is expecting except that it isn't Carter Morgan III. Carter is unfriendly and aloof, and they have nothing in common. Even so, the pair hit it off immediately and become friends.

Carter knows Zeke isn't interested in being anything beyond friends and roommates. Unfortunately, knowing this doesn't stop him from hoping for more, no matter how much he tries to convince himself it's impossible.

Such a sweet MM romance

“Shots On Net” 🏒 🏳️‍🌈 I loved this sweet @authorjjmulder hockey romance of roommates to friends to lovers! Even though Carter is grumpy and antisocial with almost everyone, he falls first and hard for his new roomie. He respects Zeke’s demisexuality and they become friends in this slow burn. Zeke also supports Carter in his real dreams and goals.

Sweet, Simple, and Maybe Too Easy.

This book is cute—almost too cute for my taste, if I’m being honest. There’s zero drama, zero angst. They meet, they fall in love, they communicate like champs, and every potential issue is handled with total ease. Honestly, Cinderella had more plot twists.

That said, I really liked the characters—especially Zeke, who’s some great demi rep—and the audiobook was very well done!

A Feel-Good College Romance

Carter and Zeke are some of the most lovable characters I've listened to. There's plenty to relate to with both of them. I really enjoyed that the brooding intimidating one is the one to really lead the charge on this romance. And having some demisexual representation means a lot. Overall it is a great listen and a feel good story even if it does lack a bit of depth.

What a sweet endearing story!

Great characters, fun banter, perfect comfort book. I really loved seeing the relationship develop for the MCs.

A cute couple, love them.

I love this couple and I am exited to see the others. They are just too cute and the story when welI. I did not like the voice for the short guy, even the other actor's voice was better but that is just my personal opinion.
