After four books, I am totally invested in this series. I loved the overall plot, with it's list of suspects, twists and turns. I grinned like a loon when Hadrian tactfully inserted himself into Matilda's latest investigation. His jealousy of Matilda's pretend husband, Inspector Maxwell, was the perfect subplot in this book. The three, investigating a burial club scheme, have to live under the same roof with Hadrian playing brother and Maxwell the husband. When murder raises its ugly head, things get intense and the investigation takes on new meaning. This was a great read, one I enjoyed immensely.

Love this series! Clean. Well-developed mystery.

All the twists and turns of murder investigations, compelling characters who keep the killer(s) identity shifting, make this a very difficult story to put down. The two narrators add detailed interest to the developing storyline. Complex. Unassuming, strong heroine. Harrowing adventures

I enjoyed the way this book kept me guessing. Matilda is blossoming and I look forward to following her journey.

As always the narrators are fantastic!

The narrators really help the story come a live! All the books in this series are great!

I like this series. The narrators are excellent and the plot was interesting. Good read!
