This book is a change of pace for Larry Correia and he nailed it. Such a fun and engaging read. Can't wait for the next one in the series.

A great fun ride

I enjoyed all the character's, The narrator did an excellent job. I do hope that this is first of a series.

Fun beginning

This book is pact full of fun characters. The MC is endearing with his try-hard attitude. Trae stole the show though. He provided a lot of comedic relief. I was expecting more academia but this book is really the origin story of the academia so we may get more in the future. The story was engaging. I finished the book in one sitting. The narration was very well done.

Great fun!

I bought this sight unseen just because it was written by Larry Correa. It’s different than his other works but has all the characteristics of his writing-lots of fighting, cliffhangers, witty dialogue, and great characters. Buy it and enjoy the ride!

A silly, fun story

This story is a simple, fantasy story that doesn’t really break any new ground. Yet, I will be getting book 2. It was fun and I want more fun in my life right now!
