It's interesting

The voice acting is Great.The overall story is not that bad. Unfortunately, the Ending. seems a bit rushed. There are quite a few story lines that don't go anywhere or just disappear. The worst one in my opinion is the mc was given some good books to just Try and convince someone to do something but then never Brings it up.

Great start!!

Can’t wait for the next book. This was a great start to the series. Only thing we need is to give our boy some offensive spells so he is not getting his ass kicked all the time.

Great start & setup, Look forward to next book

Huge fan of author, and not disappointed. Performance was great. For tone comparison, this book is a little shorter and with less action than A Soldier's Life (Must read by the way by same author!). Book takes its time building characters and introducing world. MC intro was a little rough, but once past that, overall, this story is excellently crafted. We watch him develop, train and grow. I also found myself really interested and invested in the side characters who are introduced. Each are all unique in character and well developed.
Story hints at a world scope much larger than the small part we experience though the characters; this offers great potential. I will get next book. Overall solid 4.5/5, so close to a 5, with great series potential.

Absolutely loved the book. Can’t wait for the rest of the series. If you like the author would recommend A soldiers life
