New take on xanxia

Not your typical cultivation story. Most of the things are the same but seeing it from the perspective of someone from earth was nice. And it didn’t just feel like someone from earth who just acts like ever other cultivator by the middle of the story. He grows while keeping true to himself.

the story is good, while the grammar feels awkward at times. other than that its a solid read

it's an excellent book and performance. I am ready for book 2 ,whenever it comes out.

Fun deep dove into cultivation strategy

Great narration and storytelling while also giving us a complex cultivation system that’s manageable in chapter sized bites. I listened straight through without switching out to another book in my long queue. That’s saying something. I look forward to bingeing the next and seeing what kind of mischief this hero who just wants to read can get into.

such a great book

this series is so much fun I couldn't stop listening even when it's 5 in the morning. we follow the MC as he learns about the new world and cultivation. as he grows in power and is growing twine with politics he would rather not be as he would like to just spend his time reading about everything. highly recommend this series
