Great book I love these characters

I'd say i like the first book slightly more, but I still love the characters and the slow burn realism and awkwardness they have, I'm still super excited for more

Surprisingly dense for being so short and sweet

You'll probably hear "it's a slow burn" in reference to this series a lot, and this volume is a good example. It covers just the days leading up to and during Christmas, mostly between our two title characters, but there's still a healthy amount of development between side characters. I'm sure it's not for everyone (though I hope you to keep checking out future volume releases, I guarantee it's worth it), but I adore this pace and soak up every awkward, introspective word.

As for the performance, loved it yet again. Analise Scarpaci completely knocks Adachi's internal crisis scenes out of the park (especially 'that' one), plus she can really capture Yashiro's gremlin energy.

I love this series. Beautiful depiction of a young ladies journey of self discovery. Narrator did a fantastic job.

This was soo cute and good! Loved it so much! The ending was a little strange, not bad just strange, overall amazing audiobook

You know how long I've been waiting for this?

LET'S FREAKING GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! Been waiting for an audiobook of AdaShima for YEARS. Used to play the "Read Aloud" feature on certain other apps that will not be named, and the system would always misprounce the names and places and never have inflection. THE VOICE ACTOR ABSOLUTELY COOKED. Adachi's reflection about "thankful for my past selves" while they play air hockey is legitimately such beautiful writing and a positive spin on how to look at how the butterfly effect plays into our lives. And now I see Book 3 and 4 are already released, a week apart? Shut up and take my credits!!!
