This debut novel by Tilly Bagshawe has earned starred reviews from Publishers Weekly and Kirkus Reviews. Called an escapist fantasy by the author, Adored is right at home alongside the best fiction from Danielle Steel and Jackie Collins.

Bold and beautiful Siena McMahon wants to be a movie star like her grandfather. But her father, a bigshot producer, wants Siena to be a doctor. So Siena sets out on her own in this epic romance filled with glamourous characters and locales.

I really enjoyed all the characters in the book and think that it deserves more stars!!!! I wouldn't listen to it with my children either but it made "my" day!

I loved it

Great listen, you really get to know and either love or hate the characters. It's a long spanning story that makes you feel as though you know this family yourself. It was a pleasure to listen to.

A guilty pleasure!

Would you try another book from Tilly Bagshawe and/or Barbara Rosenblat?

I could try another Bagshawe, but never ever a Rosenblat again. I could hardly concentrate on the story.

OK, but can't stand the narrator.

This book does read like a cleaner Jackie Collins - which I'm fine with - but others might not be so into it. It is kind of a saga and you want to take Sienna and shake her for her selfishness and stupidity.

What I REALLY don't like about this book, is the production and narrator. The long awkward pauses are bad, but you can hear every breath and EVERY swallow of the reader. It's like nails on a chalk board, every three words she takes this big, loud swallows and when she is ready, her mouth sounds sticky. I can't tell if she needs a drink of water, has a jolly rancher in her mouth or has a very "wet" sounding mouth. It creeps me out and made this otherwise decent book, very annoying.

The quality is just not here for such a long read.

Decent book, her others are better

Tilly's Sindey Sheldon series are always better than her stand alone books but this is definitely worth a listen. I was definitely engaged the whole time. Also, the narrator in my opinion was just fine and got unfair reviews saying she wasn't. She did accents and distinct voices the way a good narrator would. The audio book overall was classic Tilly.

Good listen. Narrator is unfairly bashed
