The thrill of competition...

Hotel heiress Honor Palmer dreams of revitalizing the faded Palmers Hotel into the glamorous Hamptons hot spot it once was. When she inherits the property, she finally has her chance. But she’ll have to deal with a greedy stepmother after her trust fund, a celebutante sister spending money faster than you can say AmEx, and a chic new hotel opening down the street—owned by evil tycoon Anton Tisch and run by a hot young playboy who’s got ambitions of his own.…

The luxury of falling in love...

Sexy, arrogant Lucas Ruiz escaped a dirt-poor past to climb his way up in the luxury hotel industry. He’ll stop at nothing to make sure Tisch’s hotel succeeds—and that means packing the place with celebs, winning over locals…and going head-to-head with Honor Palmer. From Pratesi sheets to breakfasts in bed, there’s more than the thrill of competition sizzling between them!

Where does Do Not Disturb rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Top 25 percent

Who was your favorite character and why?

I loved the development of Lucas and Honor. Moving beyond childhood dysfunction, ingrained assumptions and learning from mistakes makes them more likeable as the story progresses.

Any additional comments?

I was a little disconcerted by one reviewer's animosity about infidelity in the book and claiming it's not a romance. It is a complex story with a megalomaniac and a really well developed storyline. The sexy business is appropriate and a lot closer to the nonfiction world we live in than the Insta-love that often shows up in romance novels. This is the Big Girls version of love. I loved the length of the story and liken the intricate story to those written by Sandra Brown.

This is not your Mother's romance - thankfully

What made the experience of listening to Do Not Disturb the most enjoyable?

The narrator was one of the best. The story kept you engrossed throughout. Very emotional and at times very funny at others. A must read!!!!!!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

At times I laughed so much that people were looking at me with a sideways glance like I lost my mind until they saw my earbuds.

I loved this book....Very funny

Any additional comments?

Dont waste your time seriously......Even though Kate Rudd(Narr) is really good in this book, the book bounces from one character to the other and even adds new ones in between... Freakin Frustrating!!!!! I was waiting and waiting and waiting for the romance.... NOT WORTH THE CREDIT OR MONEY

NOT A ROMANCE!!!!!!!!

Tilly Bagshawe could have had a decent story in there somewhere, but rampent infidelity and poor morals ruined it. None of the characters were particularly likeable, and I found myself not caring what happened. The narration was pretty good though, and I managed to finish it despite not particularly enjoying it.

Infidelity ruins a decent story
