Trying to be fair, as it is his debut book.

The story wasn’t horrible, but I would call it Post Apocalyptic Light, or the apocalypse for young adults.

The story line was fine, but everyone was too nice. It’s as if self defense is a bad word. People that should have been eliminated are left alive to return for more violence.

Trying to bargain with people trying to rob them, etc.

As a first novel it wasn’t bad, but I’ll admit, it was a slog to finish. I usually can’t wait to listen to a good book, but I had trouble sticking with this one. Hopefully his next novels are better.

Great Story & Performance

An engaging listen with an interesting story arc and beautifully developed characters. The narration was very smooth.

Really enjoyed it...

A strong pick for fans of post-apocalyptic fiction, with a well-paced balance of suspense and drama. The use of vivid detail in both setting and character portrayal made the journey especially rewarding.

The writing and this book is trash compared to Texas fall

The characters in this series make it unrealistic a naive decisions. I see why this the book was a bundle set versus texas fall
