It really fell short from all the other great books in this series & other K-9 stories. The dog never did anything heroic, couldn’t get away when held places. Except from the agent, she was always loosing hold of his leash. And for a trained agent she could never get loose from her assailant except when other people got near & he let her go. The cruise security agent was written well & narration was good.

The 2nd book I reviewed separately because I had already purchased it. It was fantastic, one of the best in this series.
