I loved the characters and there development as the novel progressed. I admire the western sense of right and wrong and swift justice for those that deserved it…something we could use today.

The story of Alex Paine will make you feel, see and live with the time and the characters. I enjoy C.J. Petit’s books and encourage everyone who loves a good Western to read or listen to one written by him. They’re really good! The narration and performance brings the story alive and he’s excellent. I’m on to read “Joe Beck”by none other then C.J. Petit.
