I appreciate the development of the characters and the great way the story unfolds. I want to read more about McCabe.

I read the other five star reviews and I agree, this is one of the best from the Johnstones. I was frantically looking for a second book in this series and can not find one. They better get busy writing cause I can't wait to read what adventure Cullen McCabe is tackling next. Great listen.
PS. Just found out that there are three books in this series, but maybe not on audio yet.

True cowboy story with a hero.

Living in the west on a ranch, it was enjoyable to read about how the west was won. Guts & stamina & a few good men built this country. Good story.
