Masterful Story Telling

Many twist and turns in this story. I like that the girl was scared the evil intents of the outlaws and the unrelenting resolve of Marshall Holt.

Lots of dialog, little action

I liked Old Bob and Mr. Patterson. I liked the way the tough sheriff trusted both oldtimers. Also the farmer Mr Henderson's surprising declaration during the read.

No ending

There was no real ending. We will have to wait for another book to come out.

Truth and Justice

The story seems to drag on not any boring way the fact that the bad guy gets on getting away.
