As Artemis looks on, the Olympians, under the threat of attack of two incoming Titan vessels, must flee their home and abandon their Citadel on Olympus. Kara, the Wild One, First Valkyrie of Asgard, heads out into space to draw a line to dare the Titans to cross.

A plan is devised that may allow for the rapid charging of the Citadel's Jump Drive. But for the plan to succeed, they need to forge a pact with the only planet with people not of the United Races.

Artemis, the Three Embers, and a peace envoy must travel to Alfheim to treat with the Queen of the Light Elves to allow the Olympians to seek sanctuary on their planet.

(The Tales from Olympus series is a continuation of the Valkyrie Chronicles).

I'm so glad that this one is finally out on Audible. Having read the series through a good while ago, and listening to the first one, I feared that the last two of the series would ever be available in audio book format. I'm very happy to be proven wrong.
At last, in the book universe of the Valkyrie Chronicles, we finally meet the elves. And Erik proves himself capable of wringing tears out of me. Bravo sir.

The story itself is good. I really like the series.
However, the narrator for this book should have listened to the previous narrator for name pronunciation. Having someone’s name change from one book to the next is really jarring.
