New to Tracy-Lauren but instant fan!

The book are quite detailed with a great storyline. I am an avid reader with over 4,000 ebooks/audiobooks. I enjoy finding new or new to me Authors I can enjoy. I would highly recommend this series to anyone who likes a little bit of everything in their romance books.

An absolutely MUST read/listen

The story is utterly enthralling. Author has really mapped out the various species, cultures, and worlds that make up their universe. While we only see a small fraction of in in the one story, it's enough to get an idea of the colorful groups that inhabit the various places you get to experience here. The cultures and species are quite interesting, and the background, history, as well as instinctive behaviors are really well worked out. The characters are well developed and their evolution during the story.

The narrators were great - Mr. Lloyd has a way of speaking that reminds me of a Native American who learned English as a 2nd language and it seems perfect for these alien characters. Ms. Bridges also seemed to really bring out her character, and the two of them really make for a perfect team to make the story really come alive.

Best if it's kind!

This is the first book I have seen by this author and it is phenomenal. I have read many sci-fi alien romance types of books but this one is by far the best. That is saying a lot since I love Ruby Dixon and Laurann Dohner...although New Species will probably always be the best non-alien sci-fi. From start to finish this book is amazing.

Mixed Feelings

I read a lot of this genre and there was nothing different or outstanding in that regard. But there was something about listening to the story that sort of soothe my soul, so to speak. There was action in the story but in between times, there was a peaceful adventure as the lovers explored. There were times when I looked forward to continuing the listening, and times that I didn’t care so much. As far as the narration is concern, I’m a big fan of Noelle Bridges and I believe I’ve heard other stories by Mason Lloyd - his narration seemed familiar. I liked both.
