Alison is turning 17, which isn't a big deal unless you were born a Storyteller. When a Storyteller turns 17, their powers kick in and every story they tell will come true. The only problem is Alison is about to face the biggest challenge of her life.

There is a catch to keeping her story powers she has a Storyteller soulmate. Each couple must spend a year in the village of Angeline to keep their powers, or they will lose them forever.

Cassius is brash, and opinionated. He has a temper, and a love for music. When he finds Alison crashing his imaginary town of Angeline, he erupts in anger.
