A Most Lovely Read

This review comes from one who just recently visited Ghana for the first time. Excellent writing!!
Set between 1962 and 1965, Dr. Angelou recounts her steps in Ghana and speaks poignantly to so many of my own sentimental experiences in this wonderful country where I have a measure of ancestry. Dr. Angelou’s pointed words and colorful descriptions have given more meaning to all I managed to take in.

I felt connection and Africa!

I love everything. The story line as well as the way it’s written! I love her vulnerability and honesty!
