Beautiful Story Telling

I had no idea what this book was about, but was sucked in the minute I started listening. From the descriptive story telling to the suspense at the end. Class act, from one of my favorite authors now.

A beautiful story, perfectly told.

A timeless story for all that joins the ranks of Jack London's enduring works. Read well and written even better.

Interesting

The Narration could be better maybe and the story is interesting but I think I might have to listen again or read it to understand it more.

Great little short story

This has been made into one of the episodes of the Netflix original movie "The Ballad of Buster Scruggs." The film is almost exactly the same as this book.
